This silver aged eucalyptus is achieved by an aging process, which is different to the dying process because it imitates the natural aging of the wood. This allows for the contrast, shades and different characteristics of the natural veneer, to remain intact, but with a silverish hue that reminds of an aged wood.
This process is particularly indicated for veneers with personality such as frissés, burrs, rustic or outstanding grains.
The log featured has 2000sqm with lengths that vary between 3m and 3.3m. Good sequence, colour consistency and nice widths. The grain is straight, contrasting and very clean, which makes it suitable for any high-end project.
