Valsain Pine Crown Cut

Pine Scots Crown Cut

Valsain Pine Crown Cut.

Also  known as Scots Pine, is a species of pine native to Europe and Asia, ranging from western Europe to eastern Siberia, south to the Caucasus Mountains, and north to well inside the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia.

Mature trees grow to 35m and can live for up to 700 years. The bark is a scaly orange-brown, which develops plates and fissures with age.

The heartwood is reddish-yellow to brownish-red and darkens in time.

Valsain pine timber is one of the strongest softwoods available, and is widely used in the construction industry and in joinery. It has a medium weight, reason why it has been popular as solid wood for country -style furniture.

Nordic Trend.

Valsain Pine Crown Cut produces a sliced and peeled veneer, with a medium texture and straight grain, which is used for doors, paneling and lining.

Crown cut shows us the first bundles from a log because it is sliced over the heart. That produces the so-called cathedral structure, much sought after in crown cut bundles and that raises its natural essence.

Pine wood finishing is one trend that has become very evident amongst the Nordic designers who used it almost each detail of their environments. And Nordic style is absolutely trend today.

Scot Pine Veneer reach a charming welcoming home. The light colour will create a calm and quiet view. Perfect for country- style, you will find in it a friend to refresh any aged look.
