Sycamore Crown Cut

Maple Crown Cut

Sycamore Crown Cut

Sycamore, also called Arce or Maple, can be found in Middle Europe and West Asia, and got up in British Island in XV century.

Sycamore is a hardwood that is dense, relatively easy to work with and strong. It has a smooth texture and tight uniform grain. Hard maple is very similar to soft maple in color and appearance but tends to have a more regular grain pattern. Sycamore wood veneer will accept stains and finishes well but is most often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and accentuates the color and beauty of the wood’s natural grain.

Sycamore veneer, also known as quartered hard maple wood veneer or quarter cut white maple veneer, is typically a creamy white to a pink tinged light yellow wood that ages to a deep pale gold color.

Cheerful bright.

Crown cut shows us the first bundles from a log because it is sliced over the heart. That produces the so-called cathedral structure, so much sought after in crown cut bundles and that raises its natural essence.

Sycamore Veneer is commonly used in architecture design and interior decoration because of its inviting warm tone. This kind of veneer provides a cheerful, opened, bright and lightly space sensation.
